TDS currently introduce professional liability cover to all dentists and dental care professionals in the UK.  TDS is delighted to be looking to recruit a Dental Adviser to join our Claims Team. The successful applicant will work within our existing Claims Team, providing advice and assistance to our clients, including, primarily, handling of client’s complaints and claims.

 

Job description

 

TDS are looking to gain a diligent, goal-oriented professional with the ability, dedication, and focus required to successfully fill the role of a Dental Adviser.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Advise and assist clients by telephone and email in relation to both clinical and non-clinical matters
  • Draft responses to complaints or claims in line with clients instructions
  • Notify and correspond with insurers in relation to claims
  • Correspond with panel solicitors in relation to claims
  • Regular review of open cases

  • Good time management skills, particularly in relation to prioritising own caseload

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Internet Explorer

 

Experience

 

Experience in complaints & claims handling would be beneficial.

Due to the changing nature of indemnity, we understand that experience in corresponding with insurers in relation to claims is not yet common therefore, such experience is not essential for this role. However, eagerness and willingness to learn are essential.

Full training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.

Location

Currently based in Glasgow, Scotland however, we would consider a remote working role for candidates out with Scotland.

You could be required to initially work from home due to the current government restrictions therefore, must have access to Wi-Fi to work from home.
